By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully accept our terms and conditions as detailed below:
Bookings for Group Classes & Workshops
Your place is not confirmed on the course until we have received full payment and your completed enrolment form.
If you have paid and sent your enrolment form and do not receive confirmation within 48 hours of sending, please contact us.
Once you have booked and received our confirmation, you have secured your place in the class/workshop. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
One to One Consultation/Class Attendance
All family members that are involved with the day to day care and training of your dog are encouraged to attend the consultation/class.
All children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult who agrees to prevent them from disturbing the process of learning during the consultation/class.
We make every effort to ensure safety of both clients and dogs during consultations/classes. By making a booking, you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, children and adults poses a risk of injury to people and your dog, and you agree to indemnify In a Spin Dog Training & Behaviour for all personal injury and damage to property owned by you while attending the consultation/class. You also agree to make any person who accompanies you to the class/consultation aware that they are also there at their own risk.
Training Environment and Equipment
The following training methods are not permitted in consultations/classes under any circumstances:
- Choke/Check chains
- Slip leads
- Prong/pinch collars
- Electric collars
- Spray collars
- The use of physical force/physical correction
- Shouting at your dog
- Any device that causes discomfort, fear or pain to the dog
We advise against the use of flexible/extendable leads.
Your dog must be wearing an identification tag with your name and address as the minimum required by law.
From April 2016 all dogs must be microchipped by law.
You must have poo bags with you on consultations/classes and clean up after your dog.
Behaviour Modification and Training
Success of behaviour modification and training is dependent on the amount of time and commitment you can put into your dog’s training and behaviour modification, and whether they are in the right environment for progress.
Behaviour problems can be difficult to modify and we do not offer guarantees. We do not ‘fix’ your dog for you.
Advice provided by In a Spin Dog Training & Behaviour is given in good faith based on the information provided by the client.
